The Dallas City Plan Commission will hold a community meeting about the "multi-use retail district” zoning change for the residential lot at Royal Lane and the Tollway on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 6 pm . Please plan to to attend and oppose their recommendations. The meeting will be at the Walnut Hill Recreation Center, 10011 Midway Road, Dallas TX 75229.

1) Oppose the application for rezoning 5807 Royal Lane at the NE corner of Royal

and the Dallas North Tollway, Case #Z223-329; and

2) Oppose the Staff Recommendation for a Neighborhood Service District that

would change the character of our neighborhood by adding a

“multi-use retail district” to our neighborhood.

Council Member Gay Donnell Willis: You campaigned on a “Neighborhood First”

platform – and our neighborhood would be negatively impacted by
retail development without a more thoughtful planning approach.
